At Fuller House Childcare, safety isn’t just a policy—it’s a daily practice. We empower children with knowledge and confidence, helping them navigate the world safely.

From day one, we teach clear, age-appropriate guidelines on personal safety. Children learn about "stranger danger," understanding the importance of personal boundaries—like knowing the difference between "parent touch," "teacher touch," and areas where no one else should touch.
Our vibrant safety vests are more than cute—they help children learn responsibility and visibility on city streets. On neighborhood walks, holding hands and staying together teaches the importance of staying close in public spaces.
Crossing city streets becomes a careful learning experience. We practice reading pedestrian signals, discussing red lights, and ensuring every child understands how to safely cross busy roads. Riding public transportation like Muni and buses offers valuable lessons on navigating our community independently and confidently.
Through frequent neighborhood walks, children become familiar with landmarks and directions, gaining confidence to recognize and navigate their surroundings. At Fuller House, safety lessons are built naturally into our daily routines, creating a foundation of independence, awareness, and security for every child.
